Galvanizing Services
Environmentally Friendly Galvanizer
Tennessee Galvanizing is one of only a few galvanizing companies to meet ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, and to use environmentally friendly, self contained systems which are based on resource recovery and recycling.
Some galvanizers use a chromate quenching process that is hazardous to employees and to the environment. We use an enviromentally friendlier hot dip gavanizing process.
We provide hot dip galvanizing services for steel of many different configurations, including threaded rod, nuts, bolts, angles and fasteners. Please see our portfolio to see a sample of our work.
Our hot dip galvanizing plant is convenient to the Tennessee River and major interstate highways (I-24, I-75 and I-59) we can ship and receive any quantity or size of order, from any area of the United States. We are especially convenient to Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Florida.
Contact Us for Galvanizing ServicesHot dip galvanizing is the process of applying a zinc coating to fabricated iron or steel material by immersing the material in a bath consisting primarily of molten zinc.
Galvanizing forms a metallurgical bond between the coating and the underlying material, creating a barrier that is actually an extension of the metal itself.

Galvanizing requires little, if any, maintenance in comparison to the maintenance demands of paint systems. Zinc’s corrosion rate is only a small fraction of that of steel.
Zinc applied to steel can add 40 years to the life of a component or facility. No other coating can match the barrier and cathodic protection that zinc provides.
The initial cost of galvanized steel is often comparable to that of painting.
However, in overall life-cycle analysis, galvanized steel proves to be much more cost effective in promoting structural durability with maximum rust and corrosion protection.
